Halloween Dance Fest 2011
I’ve never been to a Halloween party before. Well, that it until last week when T.J. and I threw an awesome one. We were blessed with the opportunity to have our party at the Prince Street Cafe, which was perfect for our celebration!! About 40 of our friends and family came to the party and danced the night away. You can see all of the Smilebooth photos on our blog, here. About a week before the party I said to T.J., “I’m not going to make any decorations…... Read More
Happy Lamp
Several weeks ago, on Craft Day, I stopped by JoAnn’s and found this little roll of yellow (!!!) pom-pom fringe for $2.99. Naturally, I had to have it! I knew right away where I wanted it to go – on the white IKEA lamp in our living room. It was literally one of the easiest and quickest Craft Day things I’ve ever done. Birthday Bunting Flags
Last weekend was our giant family reunion in honor of my Grandpa’s 90th birthday. It was so much fun and I’ll be posting photos soon! I made a lot of items for the birthday party, one of which was a long string of bunting flags to hang from the tree we were all eating under. Here what you’ll need: (4) Yards of Fabric : I used 1 yard of each color which made the flags long enough to wrap around our tree more than twice. I highly doubt you’d need THIS much... Read More
Mini Heart Wreath
This past Sunday, while watching a movie on the couch with T.J., I made this mini heart wreath. It was super simple to make – and cheap too! I don’t think the entire thing cost me more than $4! Sorry I didn’t take any before and after photos, I planned on it… but was obviously super into the movie and before I knew it, I was done making the wreath. Ha! Here’s what you’ll need: (1) mini fiberboard wreath form – $.99 at Michael’s... Read More
